*You can now send messages in Chat using Siri. Just say “Send a message in Edify” or “Send a message with Edify”. When Siri asks “To who?” state the name of the user you want to send a message to. Siri will transcribe the message and ask if you want to send it. You can send the message by responding “yes” or you can manually click Send on the messaging modal that appears.

*You can now use the @ sign to Mention a specific user or every member of a conversation in a channel or direct message. A mention alerts the message recipient regardless of their notification settings.
*New: Notification settings
*The new notifications setting for channels and direct messages are All or Mentions. All sends notifications and unread counts when anyone posts in a chat or direct message. Mentions only sends notifications and unread counts when you or the entire channel is mentioned.
*New: Quickly view specific emoji reactions
*Long press an existing emoji reaction, to open the tab of details screen that displays which users reacted with that particular emoji.
*New: Unpin
*We’ve added an unpin feature for the pinned messages screen. Navigate to Channel Settings > Pinned Messages, then long press a pinned message and select Remove Pin.

*You can now pin messages in Edify mobile. Pinning a message saves it in the channel header for all members to see, so the message doesn’t get lost in conversation.

*The channel header now displays the channel type, user status (for direct messages to one user), and user count (for direct messages with more than two users).
*Improvement: Enhanced GIF selection
*To maximize screen real estate, the Giphy pop-up now overlays the keyboard area when selecting a gif to send.

* Tapping the unread button takes you to the location of the unread message in the channel list, even if the section containing the unread message is collapsed.
